adminStarted back in May 2011 and set to open in November the 10 person Gefrorene Wand gondola will replace the previous triple chair that rose from the Tuxer Fernerhaus up close to the top station on the Hintertux Glacier.
The €10 development is positioned in order to expand the lift capacity for those using the top section of the Hintertux Glacier, the area that remains open throughout the summer months. Able to carry 2800 people per hour from 2660m to 3033m the gondola will help spread the traffic on the upper section of the glacier and shorten queues.
